About me
Andrew is an award-winning producer with 17 years experience in film and television, including interactive AR/XR media. Andrew is a recipient of Advanced Imaging Society’s Lumiere award previous recipients include Martin Scorsese, Jon Favreau and James Cameron. His film and TV properties have sold to broadcasters in over 100 countries including Lifetime, Hallmark, UpTV, NBC Universal, TF1, Corus and Fox, including theatrical release. Selected titles include: Christmas Cupcakes (2018) starring Erin Karpluk (Being Erica, Rookie Blue) & Cindy (The Big Year). Other films include 40 Below & Falling 3D (2015) starring Jewel Staite (Firefly, Serenity) 40 Below or A Frosty Affair for it’s USA release. His first feature Baby Blues (2008) had the the highest per-screen-average opening weekend in North American theatres; I Think I Do (2013) staring Mia Kirsher (Black Dahlia) and Sarah Canning (A Series of Unfortunate Events).
Early in his career he was a director of photography and clients included IBM, Coors, Powerade, and Cirque du Solei. Andrew acts as a consultant for virtual production and worked with video game company Beamdog (created by Bioware co-founder) and created a new virtual production department to support and develop the creation of new IP and linear media products. Andrew also worked in theatre and dance as a stage manager, and projection designer on internationally touring productions including a 22 city with a cast and crew of 50. Andrew is also a co-founder of AMS, an cloud based ERP which is used across Canada by over 30 creative arts organizations.
